For the past 2 1/2 weeks I have been cloistered away in a small room, completely redoing our whole website. The main part of it, the online shopping part of it and I’ve added a blog.
This is the first full site that I’ve designed and written. I’m not a pro. I’m just a sad girl who drinks too many cups of tea. I’ve had to learn a lot during that time, and I hope I’ve done a decent job. I know there’s some horrible code in there, so if you do notice anything strange, drop me a line and let me know. Please be gentle. My fragile ego might not be able to take harsh criticism 
Honestly though, I’ve done my best, which I think is not particularly good.
The old website was really, really difficult for us to add content easily (aaaargh - what the hell is this PHP stuff!), so it had to change.
As for the blog, we’ll see how it goes. I read blogs, but Gene or I have never attempted to write one before. It may be the biggest disaster on earth, or may turn out great. Who knew there was so much specialised terminology for blogs? Slugs, fancy permalinks, blogroll etc…
Its our intention to add posts on the blog, and items on the website as often as we can. Gene has boxes and boxes of printed memorabilia that I think would really interest the vintage Vespa and Lambretta owners out there.
Gene will also be answering tech questions on the site, so if there’s something you have been puzzled about for a while, drop us an e-mail and he’ll do his best to answer the question.
